Our indoor/outdoor heated pool, hammam, sauna, interior gym and 6 private treatment rooms are all available for our guests. Inspired by ORYZA SPA’s lush green environment and Comporta’s surrounding rice plantation ORYZA LAB – an exclusive scientific skincare brand that uses rice as the core element of its expert formulas – came to life.
Sourcing its health and holistic benefits through the development of innovative products and protocols, the best active ingredients of rice are meticulously selected and blended with other botanical and scientific ingredients to develop high quality products.
ORYZA LAB’s formulas are encapsulated in cleansing & beauty oils, lotions, creams, serums and masks that are used in personalized skincare Rizo therapies at ORYZA SPA.
Design Concept
DESIGN CONCEPT
Because we believe that real indulgence comes from reconnecting through nature to ourselves, by nurturing our mind, body and spirit in a peaceful environment, ORYZA SPA’s 800m2 barn-like structure was rebuilt using 100-year-old reclaimed wood, with organic elements such as stone, bamboo, metal and other natural materials to furnish its interior.
Bringing the outside in, honouring Comporta’s traditional architectural lines, the floor to ceiling windows that give way to the rice paddies, frame the magnificent indoor/outdoor heated pool. Comfortable and organically simple in its elements, every one of our 6 private treatment rooms create the perfect setting for your journey inwards. The relaxation areas, as well as the sauna and hammam, invite you to discover a new sense of reconnection and inner stillness.
The use of Oryza Spa is reserved for guests over 16.
